Mini book with Merly Impressions

It is not often that you will see a mini-book on this blog as I am not the kind of scrapbooker who like to be constrained to a theme or event for a long period of time but the recent visit of my godson to the UK and the pile of photos that resulted from that visit was crying out for me to make an effort! And this is what came out of it:

For the spine I created the paper with Distress Ink in Faded Jeans and Barn door. I also used the gorgeous Kaisercraft paper blooms and mini blooms in the Sunset shade on the cover and all throughout the book. I worked the the amazing Check-in collection! I thought it was perfect for the theme of the mini and it was a real pleasure to work with! Without further delays here is the content of the album:

I have offset all the more feminine flowers with plenty of sploges and splashes to grunge it all up! This album will soon make it's way to Simon in a parcel and I really hope that he will enjoy it as a memory of his time here with us!
