I am feeling a bit cheeky this week with this entry for the Less Is More challenge because A) I am not sure if I can enter a Scrapbook layout and B) some could argue it isn't a clean and simple project... As I have said in the past I believe that sometimes a project that looks shabby could easily look as much clean and simple only by changing the patterned paper used... Anyway I will understand if my entry get pulled out of the challenge but hey, a girl has to be cheeky now and again!
I loved the colour combination!!! Absolutely gorgeous and inspiring! I was cheeky once more by adding a splash of baby blue to make it work with my photograph. I used a mix of papers from American Crafts, October Afternoon and from Kaisercraft. You can find the Kaisercraft papers at Merly Impressions.
I had so much fun designing this layout! I loved the colours and it really got me out of what I have been creating lately so it felt like fresh air! Did you notice I didn't use any spray or splatters?! I have learn one thing though: on the photograph my layout turned out a looking more cluttered then when I was working on and given the chance I might have removed one or two things so I think that in the future I will photograph my layout before glueing everything down just to have a better "view" of the final image. I hope this inspired you!
