A layout of my brother. I am sure he'll hate me for publishing this but hey, as a sister I have the duty to wind him up now and again!
Although this layout look quite simple there are a few techniques going on. I have lightly misted the background, then stamped some Waltzing Mouse chevron with Versamark. I then placed some old Hambly and Pink Paisley rub-ons. For the title I traced around chipboard letters onto patterned paper, I hand cut them and then outlined them with a black pen. I mounted my photograph on white cardstock and then placed it on the page with some foam pads. I finished the layout with my journaling. I was inspired by old vintage rock T-shirt for the overall design. I hope this inspired you!

Great layout, love the stamping underneath the photo, it looks great on the Kraft card - might have to try that!
Fantastic page Emilie. I love the chevrons in the background and the wings.
Cute layout Emilie. I love the wings and lettering. I haven't tried spray painting on a layout but it seems quite fun, so I must try it. TFS. ~Glen~
There's a lot going on here so wonderfully subtly that it makes a very striking page. Surely he will love you for the wings!
Great layout, I love that you were inspired by a t shirt design, never thought of that! Love the title lettering idea too.
great page love the layering of mist and stamping for the bkgd really makes the photo stand out.
very very nice. you can see the grungy t shirt influence in the design, great idea for a "male" layout.
