Mixing it up

Going through the leftovers from my pasts Scrapagogo kits I was struck by how it all mix so well! I love seeing a new theme come to life from different bits and pieces!

I love this layout! All about it! The photograph, the colour scheme and the overall style. You will recognise patterned papers and embellishments from the Gogo September kit, January kit and the stamp from the October kit. It is as if it was all from one kit. I only added a few flowers, buttons and a white doily from my own stash. So here for a few close-up.

Loving the vintage-grungy trend. A few distressed strips of paper on which I stamped some words to bring a bit of journaling to my layout.

I layered a kraft doily from my September Gogo kit onto a white doily to bring some interest.

I stamped the labels with my October Gogo stamp and a "Real Red" ink pad from Stampin'up to bring contrasting colours and focus to my text.

Some old American Crafts Thickers roughly painted in red and covered in Crackled Accent to continue the grungy feeling I wanted to add to my layout.
Did you notice: I ran out of the letter E from my tiny alphabets so to make up for it I used a letter M turned side-way. It is a great way to help you use up those last letters and make the most out of your stash!
It definitely goes on my "fav layouts ever" short list! I hope this inspired you!
