I am not talking about my other half, no, he doesn't need such an ego-busting post from me (nor does he deserve it... lol). I am talking about Cally my four year old Border Collie. I know it might sound sad to all non-dog-lovers, I get it, I used to think the same way before we got her! But as I haven't got any children and as sometimes I see enough of my partner without having to look at a photo of him during a full afternoon when all I want is to escape to my den (I am sure ladies I am not the only one to feel that way, right?!), well my only option left is the photos I took of my two dogs. And Cally loves the camera! I mean, she hears me taking it out of the bag and she'll run straight at me and start posing until I have taken a couple of shots of her! So once more this week here is a layout staring Cally!
I ordered the whole Hummingbird collection from Kaisercraft and this die-cut sheet was part of the bunch. I decided that to enhance the design as well as to protect it from any tearing I would back it up with red patterned paper from the same collection. I went for a very clean and simple feel as the design created by the die-cutting was already using a big part of my layout. I used plenty of rub-ons still from the Hummingbird collection and created some paper flowers to bring interest and volume.
The sticker sheet is full of gorgeous accents and also has an alphabet on it. I used some butterflies, letters and strips from it. A little bit of bling here and there and my layout was done. I hope this inspired you!
