... here is my second participation for our Chinese Whispers challenge over at the Scrapagogo Clubhouse. I had so much fun creating this layout!!!
I had to lift Vicki's lovely page here:
I decided to tilt the page, replace the lot of embellishments by a doily and some flowers on the left and a butterfly and the stamped date on the right. The strip of paper below her title was replaced by an other butterfly. I decided to keep the two strips of paper as it they were on the original page as I thought they were the main recognisable elements of the design. A few splashes and drops here and there to bring some interest and there you go, layout done! I love love love this page!
I used some old Hambly rub-on below the punched butterflies to add some interest and make them stand out, all finished out by a brad.
I am loving using those paper flowers in Scrapbooking at the moment! They are so popular in cardmaking and are more and more present on layouts. I feel that they gives our layouts a vintage vibe which is very trendy at the moment!
I think this has to be one of my favourite layout ever! I love the style which is a bit edgy and the fact that it is uncluttered! Did you noticed I used my Stampin'up tiny tag once more? Told you I couldn't get enough of it!
So I hope this inspired you!
