Getting Kraft-y

Hi all!

I just couldn't wait to see what challenge the CAS-ual Friday girls would come up with this week!
I have the impression that when you don't participate to a lot of challenge it can be difficult to follow the directions dictated by someone else but it appear to me that when you start to follow a few challenges it then become difficult to come up with something without those directions as a starting point...
It is only what I have noticed this past week.
After a few weeks entering some challenges I really strugled to come up with creations on my own.
But it is friday again and the first thing I did this morning was to check out the CAS blog!
A very interesting theme: a male card using Kraft elements/ paper.
You can find the challenge HERE.
I wanted to come up with something else as well for the LIM sketch challenge before it closes as I loved it. You can find it HERE.

Here is my card:

I really wanted to make a point of making it as C&S as possible and I loooooove it!

I wanted as well to try myself at another challenge.
I found the Stampin' Royalty blog and was inspired to enter their challenge which this week was to go patriotic. You can find it HERE.
I was inspired to use some kraft again and here is my card:

I like the result although I don't think It is a card that will use anytime soon...

I hope you are inspired!

See you all soon!

OOOOO!! What a fabulous card! I love the darling little tags and the simple embossed framing. A very cool and very fun masculine card! So glad you joined us at CAS-ual Fridays!

Your LIM card is FAB Emilie, albeit slightly deviated form the sketch [the strip on which the elements are placed. Having said that converted to a square we can still see the overall look of the original sketch
Thank you for submitting another entry
